Ric Speaks with Chicago-Based Entrepreneur, Celebrity Hair Stylist and Bringing Up Ballers Star,
Peytyn Willborn

In Lifetime’s new docu-series Bringing Up Ballers, five Chicago-area female entrepreneurs — whose kids are some of the country’s most elite young basketball players — do whatever it takes to ensure that their businesses succeed and their boys are on track to make it to the NBA. With millions of dollars on the line by becoming an NBA player, these feisty moms are determined to balance their family lives, their businesses and make sure their sons’ hoop dreams come true.

Peytyn Willborn is a former celebrity hair stylist (for TV shows & films such as The Mo’Nique Show, My Wife and Kids, Roll Bounce, Barbershop and The Princess Diaries), and an entrepreneur who’s owned successful businesses for nearly two decades, including Chicago’s only black-owned Italian restaurant. Peytyn also started the Future Mogul Campaign and visits inner city high schools to speak to students about entrepreneurship and assisting them with their entrepreneurial endeavors. Now that her son George is about to graduate high school, Peytyn is helping him navigate college offers from all over the country and providing guidance for his professional sports career.
