Help Understand your Online Habits!

Digital Wellness Expert, Veronica Navarrete joins Ric to answer your questions and share new tools available for everyone to develop their own sense of digital wellbeing, starting with the most popular app, YouTube.

The first step toward digital wellbeing is often understanding more about how you interact with technology in the first place.

* A recent study finds finds the average person spends several hours a day on their smart phone alone; Adding up to 86 Hours a Month.

* Stats like that have given way to rising concerns over the addictiveness of tech and how much time we’re spending looking at screens. Some studies even tie extended screen time to distractions, sleep deprivation and depression.

* YouTube is one of the most popular apps out there with 73% of Americans visiting the site or app daily, which is why Veronica has spent time looking into tools that anyone can start using to manage their digital wellbeing.

* The good news is, YouTube was one of the first tech companies to think through this and added a few new tools to help us out.
