The Popular Drama Series Starring Nathan Fillion Returns on January 15
Inspired by a true story, ABC’s hit primetime series The Rookie stars Nathan Fillion as John Nolan, the oldest rookie in the LAPD. At an age where most people are at the peak of their career, Nolan casts aside his comfortable, small town life and moves to L.A. to pursue his dream of being a cop. Nolan, surrounded by rookies twenty years his junior, must navigate the dangerous, humorous, and unpredictable world of the streets of L.A. as he makes his second shot at life count.
Starring alongside Nathan Fillion are Afton Williamson and Titus Makin. Afton Williamson co-stars as Talia Bishop, a newly promoted training officer whose first assignment is Fillion’s 40-year-old rookie. TV viewers will recognize Afton for her roles in VH1’s The Breaks, HBO’s The Night Of, NBC’s Shades of Blue, Showtime’s Homeland, and Cinemax’s Banshee. She also appears in the upcoming film Otherhood with Angela Bassett and Patricia Arquette.
Titus Makin plays Jackson West, the precinct’s youngest recruit who’s struggling to prove himself to his training officer. Titus memorably played David in the hit series Glee for several seasons and toured the world with the “Glee Live! In Concert” tour. He also starred in the CW series Star-Crossed and was a regular on Hulu’s The Path and Freeform’s Pretty Little Liars.
