Despite fear of data breaches, holiday shoppers increasingly turn to online shopping for deals and convenience

JP Morgan, Home Depot, eBay, Goodwill, and even the IRS have experienced data breaches this year. Those are just five of the 636 data breaches that occurred thus far in 2014, a 30% increase over last year according to the Identity Theft Research Center. Despite this, consumers plan to increase their online holiday shopping this year due to time and convenience, according to a recent survey by Lifelock. Personal finance expert Jean Chatzky can share details about this new research, and offer tips for protecting your personal information and financial assets this holiday season.
