Dee Wallace is an American actress and scream queen. She is perhaps best known for her roles in several popular films mainly in the horror genre. Her most widely seen role is a starring role as Elliott’s mother, Mary, in the Steven Spielberg film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982). She also played key roles in popular cult films The Hills Have Eyes (1977), The Howling (1981) and Cujo (1983). She also appeared in The Stepford Wives in 1975 and 10 (1979). In total, she has appeared in over 90 television shows and 100 films. Most recently, Wallace was cast on General Hospital as Patricia Spencer, the unseen, long-lost older sister of Luke and Bobby Spencer.
In Just Add Magic, Wallace plays Grandma Quinn. Loosely based on Cindy Callaghan’s book of the same name, the series follows Kelly (Olivia Sanabia, Extant), and her two best friends Darbie (Abby Donnelly, Suburgatory) and Hannah (Aubrey Miller, Austin & Ally), as they stumble upon a mysterious cookbook in Kelly’s attic and discover the recipes in this book are far from ordinary, they’re magical.
In season two, the girls’ Last-Ditch Layer Cake breaks every spell in town which miraculously brings Grandma Quinn back to her normal self, however it also brings back an old enemy…Chuck Hankins. Chuck disappeared when he was a teenager, but when he returns 50 years later, he hasn’t aged a day.
