James Zajac and his book “52 Years Living with Diabetes”

In “52 Years Living with Diabetes: In Spite of the Medical Profession” James Zajac details the arduous road from his diagnosis with diabetes at age thirteen to his current successful – albeit unconventional – management of the disease at age sixty-five.

The book offers an enlightening window into the life of a diabetic and his lifelong mission to encourage the American public to take their healthcare into their own hands.

James is a Connecticut native who has lived in Pennsylvania for over forty years. He lives with his wife and enjoys gardening, bike riding, swimming, horseback riding, kayaking and skiing.
