Zainab Mohammed laments how ‘People Fear For Disabled’

A new book of poems encourages empathy by poignantly expressing what it feels to suffer from disability

About the Author

I am Zainab Mohammed. I am a disabled girl with a physical barrier but with an emotional freedom. I have had a tough life growing up with PFFD. It is rare, and so am I. I would describe myself as ‘grey’ as I am not full with darkness nor with purity. I am just grey, not to dark and not too light. I am myself. Zainab.
