Longtime friends Q, Murr, Joe and Sal are ready to dare each other with a whole new arsenal of over-the-top antics and take dares to outrageous new levels when truTV’s hilarious hit series Impractical Jokers returns for its fifth season. The four friends have challenged one another to do ridiculous things in public ever since they were buddies in high school. Now all grown up, they are capturing their extreme dares on hidden camera, complete with unsuspecting strangers’ amused, confused, or flabbergasted reactions. The losing antics can face humiliating consequences.
In the Impractical Jokers season five premiere, Joe, Sal, Murr and Q pose as unreceptive receptionists in an office waiting room, then head to a world famous wax museum where they mingle with the stiff crowd. And in the premiere’s scream-worthy double punishment, the two losers are taken on a chopper ride from hell.
Last season, the guys hit 100 episodes and celebrated with their first ever Live Punishment, a highwire walk over New York City’s South Street Seaport hosted by Howie Mandel, and watched by more than 3.1 million viewers. Sal, Joe, James and Brian are currently touring the country as The Tenderloins Comedy Troupe.
