Ric talks with Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist Garry Trudeau, creator of “Doonesbury”
His latest creation, the political satire Alpha House starring John Goodman, begins its second season on Amazon.
Garry Trudeau is the first comic strip artist to be awarded a Pulitzer PrizeĀ® for editorial cartooning. His most famous work, “Doonesbury,” appears in nearly 1400 newspapers in the U.S. and abroad, and hardcover and paperback collections have sold more than 7 million copies worldwide. He is also a multiple award-winning screenwriter, producer, and columnist. His latest brainchild is the comedy series Alpha House, which begins its second season on Amazon Prime Instant Video.
