One of TV’s most iconic actors, Gavin MacLeod helps celebrate 50 years of Princess Cruises
Gavin MacLeod has secured his place in television history with his many roles but perhaps his most famous was “Capt. Merrill Stubing” from The Love Boat. The Love Boat premiered nearly forty years ago and became one of the highest-rated and longest-running series on television. The show was originally filmed on Princess Cruises’ Pacific Princess ship back in 1977. Now, Gavin is reuniting with his original Love Boat cast members to serve as godparents to Princess Cruises’ newest cruise ship, Regal Princess, and to commemorate the company’s 50th anniversary.
