When she wasn’t on-air as a charter member of the first all-sports radio station—WFAN-AM in New York—she was interviewing over 600 sports and entertainment legends as part of a breakthrough weekly series “Sports Innerview with Ann Liguori”. From 1989-2006, these historic interviews hit the airwaves with Ann one-on-one with some of the greats of sports history—Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Gordie Howe, Wilt Chamberlain, Pete Rose and many, many more. Now the shows will be available for viewers to watch on Hulu.
Sports Innerview with Ann Liguori became the longest-running sports interview series hosted, produced and owned by a woman and was a major breakthrough in the industry for women in the field of sports broadcasting.
