David Morse has been a familiar fixture on television for more than three decades in roles ranging from Dr. Jack Morrison on St. Elsewhere to House; from portraying George Washington in the mini-series John Adams to the voice of Abe Lincoln in American Experience’s Abraham Lincoln to playing a remorseful yogi on HBO’s True Detective. His many film credits include The Hurt Locker, Contact, The Green Mile, Twelve Monkeys, The Rock and Disturbia. He plays a pivotal role in the upcoming sports drama Concussion.

On WGN America’s Outsiders, premiering Tuesday, January 26 at 9 PM ET/PT, David Morse portrays Big Foster, the heir apparent to the leadership of the Farrell clan, a tight-knit family of renegades who have been in the hills of Appalachia for more than 200 years. Living off the grid and above the law on their mountaintop homestead, these outsiders fight to defend their land and their way of life from the town below and anyone who would dare challenge them. Created by Peter Mattei and executive produced by Mattei along with Peter Tolan and Paul Giamatti, the series stars an internationally renowned ensemble cast including David Morse, Thomas M.
