MTV’s most iconic franchise The Challenge is back with an all-new special event The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars. Hosted by WWE superstar and former challenge competitor, Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, Champs vs. Stars features ten of the fiercest champions from past Challenge seasons. The alumni go head-to-head against ten celebrity athletes and entertainers in challenge-style competitions to determine who will reign supreme. Winners will compete for a chance to take a share of the $150,000 cash prize to donate to their favorite charities.
Fans of the series will no doubt remember Johnny Bananas — who can claim more victories than any player in the show’s history. Love him or hate him, this six-time champion brings his strong, athletic abilities and dynamic sense of humor to every season in which he appears. Johnny Bananas hasn’t run in a final since he famously “stole” the prize purse from Sarah on The Challenge: Rivals III, leaving many to wonder if his days as king of The Challenge are over. According to Johnny, he’s ready to take home a win on Champs vs. Stars to ensure the crown returns to where he believes it rightfully belongs.
