Talk show host, comedian and sitcom writer Spike Feresten is the guy to go to when you need a new set of wheels. In Car Matchmaker, Spike finds a guy in need of a car, gets to know him, and then draws upon two decades of expertise and instinct to find three different cars perfectly suited to the buyer. At the end of each episode, a car is chosen. But will Spike agree with the buyer’s choice? For that matter, will you?
Feresten has come up through the ranks of television, staring as an intern at NBC in New York. Skill and good luck led to a full time job at SNL and then Late Night with David Letterman. He later joined the writing staff of Seinfeld, becoming part of the team to write such iconic episodes as the famed “Soup Nazi.” His other television comedy writing includes episodes of The Simpsons. He also hosted his late night series on FOX in the mid 2000’s.
