Tackle the world of competitive youth football in the second season of… FRIDAY NIGHT TYKES premiering Tuesday January 20th at 9 PM ET/PT on Esquire Network.

Esquire Network once again will turn its cameras on the grown-up world of Texas youth football. The critically acclaimed, 10-part documentary series, watched by nearly 8 million viewers in its first season, follows five teams in the San Antonio division of the Texas Youth Football Association (TYFA) from registration and pre-season practices, through the playoffs and championships. This season, the action centers on the 10- and 11-year-old age group, where the players are bigger, faster and the game more explosive … and dangerous. Also in the spotlight are the changes teams have made to their training methods after several coaches were suspended last season for encouraging dangerous play and profanity. FRIDAY NIGHT TYKES is about more than just football. It’s about the choices parents make for their children, and the community that surrounds America’s favorite pastime.

Ric talks to Brian Morgan the President, CEO and co-founder of the Texas Youth Football Association (TYFA), the largest youth football league in the state of Texas and the second largest in the country, with more than 18,000 kids and 6,000 volunteers. TYFA has over 420 Teams covering San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Killeen, Waco and the Rio Grande Valley. Morgan currently resides in San Antonio with his wife, Jeanette, and four children.
