The Preachers aims to bring viewers a daily dose of hope and promises to deliver usable information, uplifting inspiration and actionable motivation to television audiences everywhere. Not only do they bring their real-world experience as pastors and counselors… they also happen to be hilarious!
The series is hosted by John Gray, a musician and associate pastor at Lakewood Church in Houston, under the leadership of Pastor Joel Osteen; Dr. E. Dewey Smith, Jr, a senior pastor/teacher at The House of Hope Atlanta and The House of Hope Macon, GA; Orrick Quick, pastor and founder of God Seekers Church in Hight Point, NC: and the pastor/founder of Empowerment Temple AME Church in Baltimore, Dr. Jamal Bryant, known for his vocal and empowering stance on political and socio-economic issues.
The Preachers marks the return to daytime TV of The View co-creator and EP Bill Geddie, who serves as the executive producer of the new talk show. The Preachers will be a fun and energetic hour with moments of true inspiration. Collectively, the preachers have counseled thousands of people throughout America. Now it’s their turn to bring usable information, up-lifting inspiration and actionable motivation to television audiences across the country.
