Ric Catches up with acclaimed filmmakers Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk
Bonni Cohen (Co-Director) has produced and directed an array of award-winning films, including most recently co-directing Audrie & Daisy about the impact of online harassment with Jon Shenk. She also produced The Island President, which Shenk directed. In 2006, Cohen produced and directed The Rape of Europa, which was nominated for two Emmy Awards® and Best Documentary Screenplay by the Writers Guild of America.
Jon Shenk (Co-Director/Cinematographer) is an Emmy®-winning documentary filmmaker and cinematographer. He most recently co-directed with Bonni Cohen Audrie & Daisy, a story of two life-changing online bullying incidents. Previously, he directed and shot The Island President, the story of President Mohamed Nasheed of the Maldives, and his battle to help his country survive rising sea levels that could submerge the nation of islands forever.
