Award winning actress Adina Porter

Obie award winning actress Adina Porter has made her mark in all areas of entertainment: television, film and the theatre. Notably she portrayed ‘Lettie Mae Thornton’ in HBO’s “True Blood” for all seven seasons of the cornerstone series. She also appeared as ‘Kendra’ in Aaron Sorkin’s HBO drama, “The Newsroom.” The show marked Porter’s fifth venture with HBO, along with her memorable performances in highly acclaimed HBO films “Lackawanna Blues” and “Gia,” as well as the long-running “Mind of the Married Man.”
In addition to her work on HBO, Porter, can currently be seen as the fierce warrior, ‘Indra,’ on The CW hit, “The 100” and as ‘Pearly Mae’ in the new WGN period drama, “Underground.” Porter was also recently tapped to join the cast of ABC’s new drama pilot “The Jury” as a series regular.
